Creeper原本是指游戏《我的世界》里的一种生物“苦力怕”。苦力怕是游戏《我的世界（Minecraft）》当中一种十分常见的敌对生物。它是接近玩家后会自爆的攻击型生物，同时也是《Minecraft》的吉祥物与标志。它们是一种绿色的、有着一张沮丧苦脸的表情，会潜伏和自爆并以此伤害玩家及破坏周围环境的怪物。
后因2019年7月8日网友king在YouTube上与朋友在Discord上用打字接龙的方式唱出《Revenge》这首改编歌曲，在网络上成为流行的打字接龙梗。也是因为这首歌太过于洗脑了，所以每当有人打出“Creeper？”，就会有人“Aes up in the morn'
